Tribute
I’ve said it before and ill say it again F*** YOU CANCER! Today that rotten disease took another soldier, but this one was special, our very own Captain America, Superman and Great Guy all rolled into one! He was an incredible Husband to my Sister, The best Dad to my two nieces and a wonderful caring grandfather to Hunter! Anyone that knew him Loved him, how could you not? This man would give the shirt off his back if you needed it! He was selfless, humble, caring, and probably, no DEFINITELY the most wonderful human on the planet! I've known him for about 30 yrs every ounce of his being was designed to make others happy, you never saw him without a smile on his face, he took me in when I had no place to go, he loved his family, he cared for everyone! If I could be a tenth the man he was I would consider myself blessed! You will be missed Vernon Eckstein, you will be sorely missed by all. Rest in peace my brother, I Love You! Vern you Fought hard to the end, you deserve so much more, more time, more time to love, more time to laugh, more time to live.
Goodbye Vern R.I.P

Dear Stephanie & family,
Our thoughts & prayers are with you and your family. It is never easy to lose someone we love, and the journey your family has been on has been one of challenge but filled with love. We pray you will experience God’s love, peace, comfort, and strength during this time. And one day, we pray you will receive His joy as you look back upon the happy memories of your life together. We wish we had been able to meet Vern – we are so glad you had such a wonderful husband and best friend! May those memories remain in your heart forever.

It’s been a long time Vernon, but I remember you as a small boy, you were so cute. I’m sorry we didn’t meet more often. You are my cousin, my Mom’s sisters son. I remember you when we used to pick blueberries as your place by Wembley, Alberta. My husband also had cancer but Praise the Lord, HE gave Luther more time and a purpose and we are in Dominica W.I. keeping the light of our Lord going forward. Praise the Lord we will meet again in Heaven. You are so blessed, you are in Glory, my name is written in the Lambs book also. PTL

What can be said about a man like my younger brother. He was truly a person that always had, and always had the ability to, make a person smile. Even as a young boy when we were growing up on the farm, if you weren’t smiling he would tease you until you did. Even though life took us in different directions and miles apart, whenever we saw each other it was as if we had seen each other yesterday. I will miss him till the it is my turn to leave this rock, but he will always live with me in my heart and my memories. I was very overjoyed when I heard he had made his life right with God before he passed. We will see each other again one day and to that day I so look forward to. I do miss you little brother and love you forever.
