Tribute

It is with great sadness that the family of Randy James Schwartz announces his passing after a lengthy battle with cancer on February 4, 2020 at the age of 64.

He will forever be lovingly remembered by his wife Vivian, his son Warren and wife Erin, their 3 children, Maddy, Olivia & Reid.  His Son Ryan and his girlfriend Nina.  His stepson Josh and his wife Vanessa, their 2 children, Daxton and Lila.  Sisters, Cindy and her husband Jim, Patty and her husband Manny, Wendy and her husband Terry.

He will also be forever remembered and missed by his numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Randy was a very strong, loving man who loved his family, the outdoors, cars, music, working out at the gym, and the many large family gatherings and playing with his grandkids.

His passing is a huge loss to all that loved him.  In his final days he was surrounded by the love of many friends and family.

Randy was predeceased by his Mother Myrtle and Father Edward.

A celebration of Randy’s life will be held on Thursday February 13th, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Bakerview Crematorium & Celebration Centre.  34863 Cemetery Avenue, Mission BC

Bakerview Community Crematorium & Celebration Centre Staff send our condolences to family and friends.

From: Albert Janzen
Relation: I worked with Randy many years at Ainsworth Lumber in Abbotsford

It was a real big surprise for me to see Randy’s picture in the back of the paper today when I checked the Obits, usually its people older. I had not seen him now for more than a few years but that picture looks exactly the way I remember him.

We were not close friends but we had worked together for many years and surely knew about each other at least as far as work was concerned.

I remember Randy as a very friendly and easy going person who could talk with anyone. He was a good worker and I think he was well respected by everyone. I think I cannot remember Randy any other way than that he usually had a smile on his face or a bit of a twinkle in his eye. He probably was that way for his family too, I could imagine.

This must come as a big shock for those who are left behind just when Randy was getting close to retirement years, if he would retire?

I truly hope and pray that Randy has gone on ahead of us to the better place that we all hope to be in after our earthly life is over, sooner, or later, with the Lord in Heaven.

No doubt the way these things happen and when they happen often leaves us with many more questions than answers, but I pray that for those of you who are left behind that you will not lose heart or hope on account of Randy’s departure, but that you will continue to trust in God and find strength and courage in His faithfulness for each one of you. Amen.
