Wayne Charles Fancher
September 4, 1955 - August 12, 2024
Tribute
Wayne Charles Fancher, born on September 4, 1955, in Vancouver, BC, Canada, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2024, in Delta, BC. He was a beloved father to his two daughters, Ashley and Angie, who brought immense joy to his life.
Wayne was a proud member of Teamsters local 155, where he dedicated himself to his work and earned the respect of his peers. Known for his infectious sense of humor and outgoing personality, he had a knack for making those around him smile. He was a passionate sports fan, particularly devoted to the Vancouver Canucks, and loved sharing moments of laughter and excitement with family and friends.
An avid music lover, Wayne found joy in the sounds of CCR and The Beatles, often reminiscing about their timeless tunes. He cherished his walks at Redwood Park, a place where he could connect with nature and reflect on life.
Wayne’s spirit of giving extended beyond his family; he was actively involved in community initiatives, including a local toy drive that aimed to bring smiles to children during the holiday season.
He is survived by his daughters, sisters, and brothers, who will carry his memory in their hearts forever. Wayne’s humor, kindness, and love for life will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Dearest Ashley, Angie and family.
Your Dad was quite the guy, as a little girl I remember how he’d nicknamed Terry and I and himself. Wayne became Blueboy, Terry became Joeygubanear, because I couldn’t say Joey come here!! I became Bubalouie. He’d ask us if we wanted a B-fight..whatever that meant but we’d obliged and started to beat him up! Was a great game and he still called bubalouie when ever he saw me. He had Terry and I up on the garage roof one time, don’t think I was more that 3, think that’s the tome the neighborhood bad Boys shot a pea shooter at us and the pea went promptly up Terry’s nose! 🤣🤣 our parents were none too happy that 1, Wayne had us on the roof and Terry ended up in emerg!! Oh the fun.
Memories, hold tight to them.
With much love Aunty Moe & family

Wayne you will be missed. Unfortunately we did not have as much time to see each other as our families required our attention. I always looked forward to seeing you when I was in seeing Mom and Dad. Loved hearing your stories and your love for your girls. I am thankful for the times we spoke on the phone after Mom’s passing. Thankful you were my brother. Enjoy your reunion with all that have gone before you.
