Surjit Kaur Sidhu

We regretfully announce the passing of Mrs. Surjit Kaur Sidhu, village Kaonke Kalan on January 8th at the age of 79.
Surjit Kaur is predeceased by her husband Sardar Mehgna Singh Sidhu, her son Baldev Singh Sidhu, and her daughter in-law Swaran Kaur Sidhu.
Surjit Kaur was born in Lyallpur, India on February 17th, 1933. She got married to Late S. Mehnga Singh in Punjab. They both moved to Canada with their son and started their lives in Mission, BC. Upon death of her husband, son and daughter-in-law, she moved to Surrey from Oliver with her grandchildren where she resided until her passing.
Surjit Kaur is lovingly remembered by her four grandchildren, Parminder, Harinder, Gurinder, and Satinder along with their spouses and children.
The funeral service and cremation will be held at the Bakerview Crematorium located at 34863 Cemetery Avenue, Mission, BC on Sunday January 13, 2013. The service will begin at 11:00am followed by a prayer service at the Mission Sikh Temple located at 32086 Lougheed Highway, Mission, BC at 1:00pm.
