Richard (Rick) Anthoney Schneider
January 23, 1982 - June 6, 2024
Tribute
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear son Rick. Growing up he loved playing hockey, lacrosse and baseball. As a young man he attended Kwantlen College and became a level A welder, highly skilled he was able to work on major industrial projects that took him to some remote places, his favourite was Dawson city, Yukon. He was also a skilled tile setter, and worked with his father and brother on many McDonald’s projects from northern Manitoba to the Kootenays in British Columbia, but his biggest passion was golf, and the friendships he made and treasured over the years. A sense of humour, kind and a heart of gold, Rick was loved by so many and was a special gift from God to us. He is survived by his mom and dad, sister Michelle (Marijan) brother Christopher (Sophia) niece and nephew, Josie and Justin, and all the aunts, uncles and cousins.
May you rest in peace, our precious , beautiful son.

Rick always made us smile. His joy in life was contagious, and our time, albeit far too short, with Rick in this life, has been a privilege. We loved him from the first time we met him. Rest in peace dear nephew. Our hearts and deepest condolences go to Alexy, Tony, Michelle, Chris and families. With much love Naya and Uncle Art.

I was privileged to be your friend for 12 years and play over 100 rounds of golf with you. Your confidence, big laugh and honesty made me enjoy every one of them. Your genuine personality touched the hearts of so many, and we will remember you always.

Ricky, I will always remember you as that sweet, funny, tough little kid that kept up with all of us big kids as we ran around the old neighbourhood. Growing up, you were like a little brother to me. I remember the last time I ran into you, you had grown into such a handsome man.
I’m so sorry that you were gone so soon.
To my Schneider family, there are no words to make this time any easier, know that I’m thinking of you and sending love your way.
