Tribute

On March 24, 2023, Pauline “Snooky” Claire Reid (nee Lingenfelter) passed away at the age of 59. She leaves behind her husband Bill, daughters Angie and Christina, brother Dave (Amanda), and sister Ramona (Chris). She was predeceased by her parents (Gerry and Phyllis) and brothers (Bill and Gerry Jr).

Pauline cherished her childhood memories growing up in a large family in the Cariboo and later Maple Ridge. She married her childhood neighbour and soulmate, Bill, in 1988. Nothing was more important to her than family, so they wasted no time starting their own and welcomed their daughters during the following 2 years. The Cariboo always held a special place in her heart and she loved returning for family camping trips. At home she was happiest reading Harlequins, feeding her bonus kids grilled cheese, doing yard work, or sitting on the patio watching hummingbirds with her dogs. The best nights were spent at Rocko’s drinking coffee and laughing with multiple generations of family and friends. She is missed more than words could ever express.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 pm on April 14 at Bakerview Crematorium and Celebration Centre.
