Tribute

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian (Michael) Chiasson. Brian courageously passed away at home from esophageal cancer on November 9th, 2018 at the age of 57.  By his side was his loving girlfriend Jennifer Thompson, dedicated and loving best friend Lorraine Murdoch and her son Jesse whom Brian cherished and mentored.

Brian was predeceased by his mother Ruth Chiasson, nee Atterbury and brother Randy.  Brian will be deeply missed by his family; father Gerard (Gerry) Chiasson and step mother Veronica (nee Dober), Brothers Tim (Suzanne), Rod (Darlene), Jason (Dan), Sister in Law Donna, and his many nieces and nephews; Alyssa, Mark, Michael, Andrew, Emily, Miranda, Amy, Sarah and Dean, as well as his cherished dog Covah and many close friends and dedicated staff.

Brian was born in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador Newfoundland and after many adventures throughout the provinces, Brian made BC his home in 1992 and has lived in Mission, BC since 2000.   Brian was the founder and owner of Triangle Community Resources Inc. for the past 20 years, which currently has 6 locations throughout the Fraser Valley.   Brian has been a respected leader in the Employment, Addictions and Social Services field and a beloved boss.  He has been instrumental in changing and improving the lives of countless people and his spirit and vision will forever be the foundation of Triangle.

Brian will be remembered for an abundance of admirable and amazing qualities, but it is his smile, kindness, generosity, compassion and great sense of humour that will be forever etched in our hearts.

We will be honouring his memory through a Celebration of Life Ceremony and Reception on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Legacy Banquet Hall located at 3270 Trethewey Street #4 in Abbotsford, BC.
