Marilyn (Lyn) Diane Peters
March 31, 1946 - May 15, 2021
Tribute
Lyn Peters (née Darrach) died at home with husband Terry at her side. Lyn is survived by their son Luke (Jen), sister Diane and brother Don (Gail). Lyn had a rewarding career working for the Fisheries Research Board, the University of BC and Labour Canada, followed by 15 years of retirement.
Leisure activities included reading, card playing, crossword puzzles, boating, world travels, and the family cabin. She was a fan of the 60’s folk music and played the tunes on her banjo and guitar. Their themes of love and peace influenced her volunteering for many Richmond programs. In later years she devoted herself to Richmond Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Shop and the Auxiliary Board.
There are no plans for a service due to COVID and her request. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Richmond Hospital Auxiliary Lyn Peters Memorial Fund (www.rhhaux.ca and click “Donate Here”) or a charity of your choice.
