Larry Omer Lacaille (Brown)

July 21, 1968 - October 5, 2018

Tribute

Larry lost his several year battle with cancer on October 5, 2018. He is pre-deceased by both his parents Marilyn Brown and Omer Lacaille. He is survived by his loving wife Pauline and daughters, Natasha (Daniel) and Kayla. His sisters Christina (John), Ramona, Pamela and his brother Robbie.

Larry always enjoyed being around animals a passion that he passed onto his children. Larry owned several dogs in his lifetime and he would often give his pets ridiculous nicknames and could be heard singing to them often. Larry was able to spend his last several years on his and Pauline’s hobby farm, spending time with their horses and dogs.

There will be an open house held on October 20, 2018 from 1pm-4pm. This open house will be for people to pay their respects and share memories of Larry. Please contact the funeral home or family for the location.

Larry will be buried at the Hatzic Cemetery (34867 Cemetery Ave, Mission, BC) in the presence of his wife, daughters and son in law as Larry wished for no burial service. Please feel free to visit the cemetery and pay your respects after the open house.

Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day…unseen, unheard but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear.

Too many, taken too soon. Perhaps solace may be taken by considering, that it is not how long a person lives, but how Larry lived.

From: Diane (Lacaille) & Robert Delanoy
Relation: First cousin

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Larry, your dear husband and father. I am Larry’s first cousin, Diane. My late father, Alex Lacaille, was an older brother to Omer. I only met Larry when he was very young. I wish I would have had the opportunity to meet him as an adult, but unfortunately that was not meant to be.
As you go through this difficult time, please know that you will remain in our thoughts.
