Tribute
Jo Ziccardo – November 24, 1954 – November 22, 2019
It is with heavy heart that we say goodbye to our beloved father, grandfather and friend.
Jo is predeceased by his father, Mike and mother, Anita. He is survived by his daughter Chelsi (Aldo), son Michael and granddaughter Elaina. He is also survived by his sister Antoinette (Morris), nephews Michael (Dolly), David (Christie), niece Sonia (Adam), and many great nephews and nieces.
A long and extensive list of family and friends will miss the charismatic, humorous and passionate man we knew. The family would like to thank Danielle Conley, Jamie Arens, Todd Bruggencate and Antoinette Peter for their help, support and guidance during this difficult time.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held December 21st, from 10am – 1pm, at the All Saints R.C. Parish in Coquitlam, BC.
Jo was an incredibly talented musician. It helped get him through his darkest moments and his music will be forever loved. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charitable foundation Music Heals, which provides musical therapy to patients in children’s hospital, palliative care, at risk youth, seniors centres and more.

I first met Ziggy years ago when he and Ray Roper were working together. I booked him and Ray into my Musical Expressions showcase on the dock. The band rocked and he had a smile on his face that was so big, it lit up the night sky. He was a super nice guy and had a burning passion for music. Sending my deepest condolences to his family, friends and to the musicians that played with him over the years!
