John was a very caring and giving person. He was a resident of Mission for over 30 years. He was a friend and acquaintance to many. He will be missed.

I would like to record my sad feelings to hear my cousin John has passed. I’m sorry I haven’t had the opportunity to see him for many years. He was a very good friend to me when I first arrived in Vancouver as a young person of about 14 years old in 1968. I lost touch with him after I graduated from UBC, but I have fond memories of him from our younger days. May he rest in peace, having joined his wonderful sister Deena.
