May all the fond memories carry you through this time of sorrow. Your Dad may not be with you in presence, but he will always be in your heart.

Gramps was the best Grandpa in the world. He always loved to hear me play the violin, especially “Amazing Grace”. He was always patient and kind. When I was younger and him and Nana would come over to babysit us, we would always paint together and have lots of fun. I am forever grateful for all the great memories that I shared with Gramps. When I think of him, I think of loving: “Love is patient, love is kind” – 1 Corinthians 13:4. I love you Gramps!!

I have many fond memories of John.

He worked with my Father for approximately 30 years at Canada Wire & Cable. My Dad held John in the highest regard, so much so as to become fine friends outside of their work relationship.
Beyond this, our family was blessed – as we spent many great gatherings with the Husak family, with the first (I believe) of numerous camping trips beginning back in 1960. John was a gentleman in the traditional sense: mild-mannered, loving, and gentle of spirit.

All were better off for having known John. Please accept my condolences.

Grandpa was one of the most kind, caring and loving people I’ve ever known. He was always there if you ever needed a helping hand, wanted to chat or play a game. I feel very fortunate to have had an incredible person such as himself in my life to learn from and look up to. I’m grateful for the time we were able to spend together and I’ll always cherish the memories that we made. He’ll forever live on in our hearts.
