Jeannette Louise Lowey passed away peacefully, Tuesday, November 15, 2022.
Predeceased by her family, husband George Allen Lowey 1986; mother Marie Louise Dorina Gamache 1991; father Napoleon Joseph Gamache 1984; and brother Raymond Paul Gamache 1984.
Survived by children, Jodie Gamache (Ron) and Glen Lowey; grandchildren, Kurtis Morrison (Caitlin) and Ryan Morrison (Chelsea); 2 great grandchildren, Ember and Everett Morrison; siblings, Lorraine Petryk (Michael), Gerald Gamache (Margaret), Louise Goodman (Doug), Robert Gamache and other relatives and friends.
Jeannette worked for the Hudson Bay Co. for 15 years, Zellers for 18 years and the Inn of the South (Heritage Inn) for many years. Jeannette enjoyed local hockey and volunteered as an usher for Kootenay Ice for almost 20 years, as well as Key City Theatre and the Eagles Hall (Outside Guard – Cranbrook Ladies Auxiliary).
Jeannette enjoyed her pets (dogs), valued her core group of lady friends who she shared many years of regular get-togethers with.
She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends,

Jeannette’s death is a great sorrow for all who loved her. I mourn our friendship 😢
Walking the rest of the path of friendship alone is heartbreaking.
