Janet Doreen Clark

October 15^th, 1949 – September 27^th, 2025

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Janet Clark. Janet passed peacefully with family by her side due to a sudden decline in her health after dealing with Multiple Sclerosis for the better part of forty years. Janet is predeceased by her husband Greg Clark, her parents Harold and Vera Hills, her brother Robert “Bob” Hills, and her father-and-mother in law, Gordon and Freda Clark. Janet is survived by her sons Nathan (Rebecca; Levi & Amelia) and Evan (Lisa; Abby & Penny), her sister-in-laws Andrea Clark and Sandy Hills, her niece Jen and her nephews Michael and Josh, as well as many other cousins, family members and friends.

Janet was a lifelong resident of Mission, however, Janet, aka Mrs. Clark, spent many years teaching elementary school in Maple Ridge, where she taught hundreds of kids over the years and made many lasting friendships with other teachers and staff. Janet loved meeting people and hearing their stories and was always there for her family and friends, through good times and bad. Her incredible sense of humour and quick wit will be greatly missed. A generous and empathetic soul, Janet would donate to many different charitable organizations and even to random strangers who she heard were going through hard times.

The family is grateful for all the support Janet received over the years from Fraser Health, Caring Touch and from the many family, friends and neighbours who would often check in and visit, especially over the last few months.

A memorial service and tea in her honour will take place at her church, St. Paul’s Presbyterian in Mission, BC on Saturday, October 25^th at 1pm.
