Tribute

Heather Christianson July 24/1944 to April 4/2019

Heather passed away after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She is lovingly remembered and survived by her husband Wilson, her children Sherri (Kevin) Michael ( Jeanette), grandchildren Crystal, Chantelle, Nicole, Matthew, Morgan, 5 great grandchildren , her brother Gary (Lorna) and her nieces Carrie and Tracey. Heather was born in Montreal and when she was young her family relocated to Victoria BC where she married and had her children. She later moved to Nelson BC where she spent 30 years working for the Provincial Government. She initially worked in several ministries before settling in with the Ministry of Forests where she thrived working in the fire centres. Her work took her to many areas of the province and she loved what she did. After retirement she relocated to Kamloops with Wilson where they resided for many years. She most recently resides in the lower mainland to be closer to her children and grandchildren, and the family is forever grateful for the time we had. There will be a private family gathering in Chilliwack on May 11/19. In lieu of flowers please donate generously to the Canadian Cancer Society.
