Gladys Dyste

November 19, 1931 - November 8, 2019


Dyste, Gladys (nee Cruickshank)-Born November 19, 1931 peacefully embraced her Lord Jesus on
November 8, 2019 in Abbotsford, BC. Predeceased by her father James, mother Gladys, loving and
devoted husband of 56 years Lorne. Also brothers, Reginald, David, Angus, Walter and sister Esther
MacDonald. Devoted mother of Carol (Jim) Nattrass and Jim (Bonnie). Loving grandmother of Shawn
(Angela), Ben (Tracy), Stephen (Shawn), David (Crystal) and Cathryn (Francisco). Great-grandmother to Josiah, Kaylie, Daniel, Nichelle and Carlos. Gladys was born in Toronto Ontario, went to Briercrest College in Saskatchewan where she met Lorne. They married May 23, 1953 and moved to BC. Gladys obtained her bookkeeping skills and worked at Eaton’s, Woodward’s and Home Builders Lumber. She also loved to volunteer at Fraserview and Richmond Alliance churches. Her joys included cruising, reading and any type of craft. We thank Mayfair in Abbotsford for their unfailing kindness they took daily with Gladys. She will always be remembered lovingly by her family and friends.
