Gerty passed away into the presence of her Lord and Saviour in the early hours of February 22, 2019.

Gerty leaves behind her beloved husband Ralph of 55 years, children Marten (Bev), Trudy (Al), Margaret (Denis), Anthony (Lori), Gregory (Dani), Deanna (Dave), Angela (Ted) as well as 17 grandchildren and spouses, 10 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.  Gerty also leaves behind her brothers and sisters Mina, Dina (Jake), Jelte (Marie), Trina (Lucky), Joe (Gerdy) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  She also leaves behind her precious dog Gizmo who brought much joy to her.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Gerty’s name to Christine Morrison Hospice would be greatly appreciated.  The memorial service for Gerty will be held on Monday,  March 4 at Trinity Christian Reformed Church, 3215 Trethewey St. Abbotsford at 2:00 pm.
