George Thomas Brinton

Tribute
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Thomas Brinton at Surrey Memorial Hospital on October 29 2025.
Born to the late Lester and Helen (Thurber) Brinton on July 7 1951. He is predeceased by his sisters Delma Taylor, Avis Cute and Marion Brinton.
He is survived by his brothers Richard Brinton of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan; Ronald(Suzann) Brinton, Wilmot, Nova Scotia ; and his sister Hilda Caldwell, Middleton Nova, Scotia, Lester Brinton Jr, Paradise Nova Scotia, and Leslie Sanford, Halifax Novia Scotia
George moved to Surrey, British Columbia around 50 years ago. He worked as a farm hand and did custodial work. George was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy so he did a lot of volunteer work for MD in which he won numerous awards.
George was a kind and caring man. He loved to do puzzles, play bingo, and do a lot of socializing. He enjoyed staying connected to family and friends.
A special thank you to Gateway Seniors Home and Northcrest Long Term Care Home (Dogwood) for all the love and care you gave George. Thank you to Heather and Debbie (very good friends of George) for making arrangements for having a memorial service for him.
