Elizabeth Joan Simpson
February 13, 1946 – May 23, 2026
Joan passed away in her sleep early morning May 23, 2026 at her care facility, Morgan Heights in South Surrey BC.
Predeceased by brother George, 2025.  Survived by husband John Simpson, sister Kathy Adelman, sister-in-law Diane Clare, sons Christopher and Darryl, as well as grand-children Sylvia, Nick, Jeremy and Seraphine, and great-grandson Ryker.
Joan loved her time living in Ladner, enjoyed numerous boating trips with Dad, cruises to locations around the world, and working at BC Ferries before retirement. She also loved driving her nice cars and seeing her grandchildren grow up both on the Island and on the Mainland.
A celebration of life will be held at St. Stephen Anglican Church, 7921 St Stephens Rd, Saanichton, BC V8M 2C3, Saturday July 18.
