From: Linda Anne Gomez

I was shocked by the sudden death of Eileen. Although I have not seen nor talked to her in a while due to my LTD from work, I enjoyed our chats and admired her determination and courage with respect to serving often difficult individuals. Her passion for horses was also expressed. We had a special ritual each day before she left the office. I will miss her very much. God bless you Eileen … a new star in the sky. Linda

I wish to extend my condolences to Don and his family and to David, Doug, Alma, Leonard and Lorne and their families. I will remember Eileen best for her great boisterous, her wicked sense of humor and most of all her generosity.

Don: I am so sorry to hear about Eileen, we worked together at the Wheat Pool in Regina and I knew you when you were very young. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it in the paper. We live in Chilliwack and the last time I spoke with your Mom – about a year ago. She was a great lady, I will put her in my prayers and am so sorry for your loss.

From: Carol (Borgerson) Halpen

I just learned of the passing of Eileen. Sincerest sympathy to you Don and your family, and of course, all the Kleinfelder family. While both she and I worked in Regina, we shared many weekend trips between Rockglen and Regina – she was a whole lot of fun to be around.
