Tribute

Known as “Dino” to those that had the privilege to cross his path;  “ Papá ” to his 5 children and  “Nuccio” to his 11 grandchildren.  Edoardo “Dino” Marazzi passed away peacefully on November 17, 2018 just shy of his 91^st Birthday. Dino was born in Milan, Italy and married his beautiful English wife, Lorna, on May 21, 1955.  He managed a successful construction company in Milan, Italy for several decades. In 1976, he moved his family to Canada to provide a better life for them.

Dino was a faithful husband, devoted father and loving Nuccio.  He taught through his actions that the truest measure of a human being is the degree of gentleness and humility with which they approach life and how they love when they think no one else is watching.

He will be remembered for his sweet infectious smile, kind disposition, gentle heart and clever wit.  He leaves behind his wife Lorna (nee Platt); his 5 children: Stefano (Dawn); Sara; Alex (Nancy); Sonia; Elisabeth (Randy) Willems and his 11 grandchildren: Hannah; Emily; Laura (Adriel) Brandt;  Mikayla; Bryson; Karissa; Gabriella; Joshua; Sophia; Daniel and Yobdee.

Dino’s unwavering faith in God and fierce loyalty to his family was an example to all who knew him. We remember with affection: his stylish outfits even when riding his tractor; his scrumptious risotto; his love for all things Italian but most of all we will forever treasure in our hearts his infectious and sweet smile.  “Ti vogliamo molto bene Nuccio”
