Hanna, Dian D.

December 1, 1938 – October 13, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Dian Hanna. She touched our lives with immeasurable love and kindness. A beacon of strength, she guided us through life’s challenges and celebrated our triumphs. Her warmth, wisdom, and love will forever resonate in our hearts.

Dian is predeceased by her husband Tom and leaves behind to mourn her loss, her children Jim and Michele (Robert); grandchildren Dalen, Everett, Jacob, Jesse, Nicole and Alannah; and her brother Tony (Margaret)

Dian is retired RBC staff and was an active member of her church, the Order of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile, as well as the Shriners R.V. Club. She loved camping, originally tenting, then graduating to RV’ing. She (and Tom) logged many kms with her trips up and down Vancouver Island. She was a planner, a crafter and a poet. She gave from the heart, loved her animals and family and was always creating ‘happy memories’

The family has tremendous gratitude for the support and kindness mom received from the doctors, nurses and care aides at Evergreen Baptist Housing in White Rock.

A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Peter and St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 1379 Esquimalt Rd, Esquimalt, BC on Friday, December 1, 2023, at 2:00pm with a reception to follow.
