It is with great sadness that we announce on March 11, 2016, the sudden passing of our beloved Daniel John Lewis. Dan was an extraordinary father to both Jade & Courtney. He lived for as long as he did because of his daughters. Dan was also a remarkable husband to his wife Maryann. Although married to each other for only a year, they were true soul mates having been together for 16 years. Dan was a kind heart, with a great sense of humor who will be sadly missed. Dan is also survived by his father David and mother Lillian Lewis; sisters Karen and Deborah; brothers Michael and Darcy; as well as his brother, sister & father in laws; 3 nephews; 4 nieces; 4 great nephews; and many friends. Service will be held at 1:00 pm on March 26, 2016 at Bakerview Community Crematorium & Celebration Centre located at 34863 Cemetery Ave. Mission, BC

well Dan its sad to here of your passing ,you been a great part of my life working with you for those many years and hanging out with you.We had good times partying with you and the boys of Semiahmoo Sr Secondary .I will say Dan for one thing you never said anything bad about anyone ,always were straight forward …going to miss you bro.my love and thoughts to the Lewis family and to marie Ann .

I did not get a chance to know Dan, but he worked as a volunteer while I was at Mission Community Services and I know all the seniors he took on rides loved his company and requested him by name. I am also friends with his sister-in-law Tammy, who is devastated. Having lost my husband of 17 years at age 50, my heart goes out to all the family now suffering this loss. I’ll say a prayer for you all.
