April 4, 1939 – June 28, 2025
Cecile Donovan passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025 in the Abbotsford Regional Hospital at the age of 86 years after her third bout with breast cancer that lasted almost three years. She will be sadly missed by her loving family.
Cecile was predeceased by her husband Sam(2012), parents Michael(1976) and Lena(2008) Yaremovich; and brother Larry Yaremovich(1986). Cecile is survived by her daughter Samantha and son Aaron. Granddaughter Olivia and sister Stephanie Huber, Regina, SK.
Cecile was born in Borden, SK. Received her schooling at Borden School. After graduating Grade 12 she worked in Saskatoon, SK, Calgary, AB and Regina, SK. She then moved to Vancouver in the late 60’s. She met the love of her life at the Royal Canadian Legion and married on July 4, 1970.
There will be no service by her request. Her ashes will be interred on September 10, 2025 at 12:30pm at Hatzic Cemetery in Mission. In lieu of flowers donations to the BC Cancer Agency or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
