Blair Atkinson

Tribute
Blair was born on a farm near Springwater, Saskatchewan on March 13, 1933. He was the seventh of 10 children of Bob and Elsie Atkinson. After completing his Bachelor’s of Education degree and Bachelor’s of Science degree he taught for many years in Saskatchewan before moving to BC in 1973 to continue in education. Blair was predeceased by his parents Robert & Elsie (Jamieson) Atkinson; sisters Margaret Storey, Louise Cox, Doris Curths; and brother David. Blair is survived by his wife Phyllis (Bradshaw) Atkinson; sons Kevin, Douglas and Kim; daughters Laurie Pauker; grandchildren Jennifer and Matt; brother Roy Atkinson; sisters Lavone Stokke, Roberta Storey, Elsie Hill and Thora Harvey; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lung Association.
