Tribute
Audrey Vlake passed away peacefully on February 24, 2015 at The Residence in Mission after her recent years of failing health. With her loving husband John constantly by her side, she was very happy and had a wonderful life. Predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Elizabeth Brenner, brothers Burton, Don and Robert and sister Jean. Survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, John, six loving children, Rita, Adrian, Debra, Laura, Steven and Cynthia, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers Peter, Keith and Louis, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. In addition to spending time with family, Audrey loved nature and the outdoors, travelling, gardening, bowling, playing piano, activities with her friends in The Catholic Women's League, flying with John and their friends in The Recreational Aircraft Association and of course, dancing with her precious John and their friends. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Parish located at 32550 – 7th Avenue, Mission, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
