Doris Franzes Wilcox

Tribute
Doris, aged 93 passed away peacefully with her family at her side. She is predeceased by her husband Joe (’91) and her brothers Arthur, Bert, and Fred. She will be dearly missed by her daughters Janice (Bob) and Irene; grandchildren Brian, Kevin (Cristine), Eric, Elena (Chuck), and Daniel; great grandchildren Carson, Brody, Dayne, and Desirae; her loving sister in lay Joyce in England; and dear friend John, also in England. Over the years she gave a lot of her time to the Cancer Society from helping in the office to selling lottery tickets at the hospital. Into her 80’s mom loved to sew and knit, even making a few wedding dresses. Give her a good book or movie and she would devour it. Perhaps that was where she got her wonderful stories the last 3-4 years of dementia. Her family would like to send a special thank you to Zion Park Manor and Dr. Arthur Willms for their incredible care they have given. We were so blessed with their compassion and dedication.
